The catalogue Gerhard Richter: Bilder aus privaten Sammlungen was published to coincide with exhibitions in Baden-Baden, Beijing, Edinburgh, Vienna and Duisburg in 2008 and 2009.

Gerhard Richter: Bilder 1963 – 2007 is the catalogue published to coincide with the exhibition at the National Art Museum in Beijing in 2008.

The catalogue was published on the occasion of an exhibition at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul, Korea in 2006, after being shown in Malaga, Lisbon and Athens beforehand.
