This edition is a print from the original negative that shows the journalist and terrorist Ulrike Meinhof and is the source for Gerhard Richter’s Youth Portrait [672-1] of 1988. The photographer Inge-Maria Peters took the photograph on 10th October 1966 and consequently co-signed this edition. The edition was published by the contemporary art magazine Texte zur Kunst, celebrating the 100th issue. (Issue Nr. 100, Dec 2015, “The Canon”).
